The Project
The University of Massachusetts Title IX website was outdated and unloved. I led an effort to structure the site around its most essential purpose for its target audience (current college students): incident reporting. Working with a cross-functional team, we developed new pages explaining what reporting options were available, explaining the difference between confidential and non-confidential offices, and what students could expect to happen after filing a report. The resulting site is cleaner and more focused, with an information architecture adapted to suit the office’s ongoing content needs.

The Strategy
Simplify, simplify, simplify. Focus on the client’s core mission and service. Hone the message down to its essential elements, and present it in the clearest language possible.
